Rush with Tom Sawyer

Last week I began to hear one of the largest groups and so far preserved the original members (and I did not know who listened). Who else am I going to talk? (NO!, NOT JUST IN CASE BY THE Rolling Stones, as they give me, I speak of the great Canadian band called Rush.

This group forms one of the best bass players in the world (and I did not know either), Geddy Lee. He also plays the keyboard and vocalist of the group. I started researching about it (especially) and has a great technique and originality of the bass.
The song that I hear far more often (200 times a day) and actually leads me to another world is "Tom Sawyer". It has a psychedelic characterization from 0:00 minutes in which the song begins. It really makes you feel different sensations. I felt happiness, sadness, anger, laughter with a look of satisfaction of having done something very bad and I feel joy but I do not care if it has been good or bad, wanted to break things, hallucinate that I'm at the point of a cliff and I have the opportunity to jump into the void, etc., etc., etc., and best of all is that all these feelings were at the same time hahaha.

Metallica is a heavy metal band originally from USA. Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode born in the early 80's in England, with music by romantic inclinations until they changed their style and electronic sounds close to pop, so much so that in future, took as its central feature the use of synthesizers.

• In 1998, the four original members of the formation of Blondie, Deborah Harry, Clem Burke, James Destri Chris Stein decided to meet and to record what would be his seventh album, "No exit", published in 1998 and whose single "Mary "took them back to the charts. In 2003 went on sale "The Curse of Blondie," his latest album to date. Today, coinciding with the thirtieth anniversary of their album "Parallel Lines," Blondie is a long international tour (in Spain have acted in Madrid and Barcelona, at the Summercase Festival). Blondie has so far sold over 30 million records.

A living legend in his music: Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath are a British heavy metal band originally composed of Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), Bill Ward (drums).

Black Sabbath started in Birmingham, England in the late 60s under the name Earth.. Initially a blues band. Black Sabbath became one of the definitive classic heavy metal bands, to be ranked alongside Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Judas Priest.

• With a competent rhythm section and the extraordinary antics of Osbourne the band enjoyed success with their British metal of brutal riffs right from their first album, "The eponymous Black Sabbath" (1970). Their second album "Paranoid" (1970) made them a success in America. Both the albums's tunes and covers marked the band as influenced by the occult and 'black' magic.

• They released a further three albums, "Master of Reality" (1971), "Vol. 4" (1972) and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" (1973) before management problems and the label change from Vertigo to WWA ruined the bands schedules in 1973. "Technical Ecstasy" (1976) was the last Ozzy-Era album in the heavy Sabbath style.
  
• In 1978 the band released "Never Say Die" and rumours that eOsbourn was to leave the band were proved true in 1979 . He was replaced by Ronnie James Dio but it was the end of an era.
• Black Sabbath's first album with Dio, "Heaven and Hell", did much to bring back the Sabbath spirit of heavy metal. However, after the departure of Bill Ward, with the "Mob Rules" album, they started to lose their touch, effectively fading into generic heavy metal oblivion for the most part.
• That is, until the reunion of all the original Sabbath members in 1998.
• The band rarely received any critical praise ("blundering bozos" was one description) and Osbourne vocal talent can be safely labelled as exuberant but non-existent. Their musical talent and ingenuity are however irrefutable. They served as a pioneer in the heavy metal field, and many heavy metal bands cite Sabbath as their inspiration, including such famous and successful groups as Iron Maiden and Metallica.
• Many of the incidents and characters in the spoof rock documentary This is Spinal Tap are based on Black Sabbath.
• Now, Ozzy Osbourne is the owner of Black Sabbath.

Eugene Klein, better known as his stage name, Gene Simmons. Born August 25, 1949, in Haifa, Israel is for me and for many the best bass player in history and is the founder of KISS!

Paul Stanley

(Click on image to view it full size)Paul Stanley is responsible for the rhythm guitar and the voice of KISS with his main character, The Star Chico, his real name is Stanley Harvey Eisen. Born in Queens, New York on January 20, 1952. KISS has been paramount in the life of Paul, acclaimed by boys and womans for his furry chest and his vocal ability, they did perhaps the most important members of both makeup and without it becoming one of the best singers in the hard rock.

Tommy Thayer

Tommy Thayer was born on November 7, 1960, is the current guitarist of the band Kiss and Ace Frehley substitute in the banda. Tommy was born in Portland, Oregon. Started playing guitar at the age of 13 years, and immediately knew at that moment he was appointed pa ra be a rock musician.
For 15 years he is considered a family member of Kiss, due to its involvement in many musical projects of the band, and later as co-writer of songs in the discography of Kiss.

Eric Singer

Eric Doyle Mesinger, better known as Eric Singer, born in Cleveland; Ohaio on May 12, 1958. He is a drummer, known for his work in KISS.
He has been part of different bands recognized, including: Lita Ford, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Kiss and Avantasia, these last three groups, Eric is active at present.

A Eric Singer was observed using batteries of different configurations of the "Pearl" Zildjian cymbals and an. Has a style not as rude as Eric or very classic like Petter, but his technique is unique and very good for that is the key ingredient in these times of KISS.
